Position Summary
micro1 is engaging Tamang Language Experts to contribute to a customer project focused on complex language-related tasks. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is best suited for bilingual Tamang-English professionals eager to make a significant impact through advanced linguistic contributions. Participants will be expected to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week, working with multimedia materials and performing nuanced language analysis.
Core Responsibilities
- Transcribe Tamang-language video content accurately, ensuring all timestamps are clearly marked.
- Analyze and describe the emotional undertones and expressivity of speakers featured in video materials.
- Conduct detailed grammar, syntax, and tone assessments of spoken Tamang in multimedia content.
- Provide conceptual definitions and explanations of unique words, idioms, and expressions encountered.
- Edit, review, and refine language data for clarity, consistency, and linguistic accuracy.
- Complete advanced language tasks as assigned, supporting diverse data annotation and analysis initiatives.
- Collaborate remotely and adhere to deliverable expectations throughout the project duration.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Tamang, with professional-level command of English.
- Demonstrated experience in translation, linguistic analysis, or professional editing involving Tamang and English.
- Strong written communication skills with keen attention to detail in capturing nuanced meanings and context.
- Proven ability to analyze emotion, tone, and speaker intent in natural language materials.
